From here to Don't worry be happy.

Today I finally finished moving the last of my blog posts from Multiply over to here.  I also moved the doggies posts from their old site.

This site will remain as an archive more for myself than anything else.  All future blogs from August 2012 will be on my new Blogger site "Don't worry be happy".  There is a link at the top of my home page so you can find it should you have found yourself here.

Finishing up

Well I have finally moved every last blog from here over to my Blogger site.  I have also moved all of the doggies blogs and closed down their site.  I shall gradually be deleting all of my albums.  I have no need to download them as they are all stored on my own hard drive and also in the cloud.
I shall take down the images in my side bar over the next couple of days and place them on Blogger. Then I shall begin to delete entries from here starting with the oldest first.
I will continue to cross post from Blogger for those few of you still here.  I will do so until the end. However I will not be using this site to read or comment on blogs.  I know where most of you are.  I have contacted everyone.
Should you wish to find me my primary blog will be at: http://pinkduchessofmorton.blogspot.co.uk/
Sadly it seems that we have all gone to different places and I cannot keep up with checking on half a dozen different blog sites so inevitably I will lose contact with some of you.  If you are one of them, well it was nice knowing you and sharing bits of our life stories.  I hope that you find a nice blog site and that new friends will come along and join you.  Who knows we may meet up somewhere else in the future.
As always...... I wish you enough.

Long time no see

It is so long since we were able to get here.  Mummy is never away from the puter long enough for us to get a go.  It's no fair!  We are all Ok.  Rosie is feeling her age in the cold weather and Alfie has hurt his tail again, but Daddy bandaged it up for him so it is Ok.
We have had our middle big girl at home this week cos it is half out of the term or something like that.  We are not sure what that is but it means our Dad is at home all day too.  Middle big girl and small boy, who was also at home, looked after us because Mummy and Daddy went away for a few days.
They went to something called a "funny rail".  They seemed sad about it so we think that it is not a good thing.  They were better when they got home.
While they was gone we did some funny pictures on a web site .  These pictures are called War O'lizes after a man who did paintings.  We think he was called Mr War O'lize or something.  Our pictures are good.  His must have been very funny.

Hello everyone

Hello everyone, this is Rosie, Loulou and Alfie. We are having a go on Mummys computer as she is reading her book for a while.  She has spent a LOOOOONG time on her computer today.
Mummy is very sad beacuse our Daddy has gone away for a few days to a place called Door Set.  We think it is a long way, away.  He can't come home anyway and that is what Mummy doesn't like.
He is with some other family that Mummy calls Bloody Glenns.  We think they are his parents but we don't know them at all.  They never visit here and Daddy would not be allowed to take us to visit them.
Mummy says we can't go to Door Set because it's a place that doesn't like dogs.  It doesn't sound like a very nice place to us and we don't understand why our Daddy would go somewhere that doesn't like dogs.  We are missing him as much as Mummy is.
Alfie spent hours this evening looking out of the kitchen window even though Mummy said he won't be back until Sunday.
Mummy is just here with us and we won't have visitors because everyone except Mummy has gone to the Door Set place.  Our Big Girl has gone with Tiny Baby and also our Little Big Girl Saskia.  Our Big Boy went with Girl Lisa and Tiny Girl Ellie.
Our Little Boy is on holiday in a place what is called Crete so he couldn't go and our Middle Big girl is getting ready to start a new job soon.  She is a teacher now, same as Daddy.  Daddy teaches big children and Middle Big Girl is going to teach smaller ones. Mummy and Daddy are something called "Proud" about Middle Big Girl.  They call her Verity.
Mummy says that she couldn't go because she has to look after all of us.  We know that she doesn't want to go anyway.  Our Mummy would NEVER EVER go to a place what doesn't like dogs.
We are going to look after Mummy tonight.  We have been looking after her all day and listening to her.  We gave her big kisses because we know she has The Headache thing.  We don't get headaches but Mummy gets them bad.  She has been very sad today but we have been very good and are looking after her.  We are going to ask to all sleep in her bedroom tonight so that we can make sure that Mummy isn't upset.
We don't ever want to go to that Door Set place, it sounds very horrible.  They are all nasty people there if they don't have dogs in at all.  Yuk.  Nasty place.  Mummy says that Daddy has told her the food is disgusting too. We like nice food. Our Mummy makes us chicken and rice.  We don't know why Daddy goes somewhere with disgusting food.  Mummy says its because of those Bloody Glenns.
We can't work out why they are Bloody.  We only get bloody when we hurt ourselves.  Both Alfie and Loulou are always getting bloody tails when they knock them on things.  It's cause our tails are very long and we are always wagging.
We have to go now because Mummy says that it is time to go in the garden for a bedtime wee.  We are going to look after Mummy because she doesn't like the nightime without our Daddy and she doesn't sleep.
NIGHT NIGHT!!!!!

Rosies Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR ROSIE
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!
Our Mummy Rosie was 13 on the 1st of August 2008.
Our people took her out on a picnic because it was also Big Girl Coralies Birthday too.

22nd July

We are real excited!  Tomorrow is Daddy's last day in school for the summer.  After he will be on holidays for lots of weeks.  This isn't holidays like when they pack suit cases in the car and go away.  This is holidays from working.
We don't like it when our people go away even though Big Girl comes to look after us. We have heard Mummy saying there will be no holidays this year because Big Girl has that baby thing to look after. We don't think that means Big Girl doesn't love us any more, just that baby thing takes up lots of her time.
Sometimes in holidays from working Daddy takes us for longer walks.  We like that. We go in our car.  We like Daddy being at home all day as well as Mummy.  If the weather is nice Mummy says she is going to do sun bathing in the garden and pretend she is away on holidays.
We have got a real pretty garden after all Mummy and Daddy's hard work.  We have lots of flowers and we like to sniff them.  Sometimes we bite them off, but not as often as our Tiny Girl Ellie, pulls them off.  That's naughty!  Tiny Girl Ellie belongs to our Big Boy Sam.
We don't do digging though because we haven't got proper grass.  We have got the astro turf.  It is good for rolling on.  We have a friend called Nikki and she sits on a ride on machine with her Dad so she can help with mowing!  Nikki belongs to our Mums friend, Connie. They live on the big island. Nikki has lots and lots of grass so she has to help her people with it .We don't have proper grass any more so we don't do mowing.
Got o go now, cos Daddy is home and it's time for our walk.

A poem

Our friend Momma Dawg was telling us about a little dog called Pearl, who lived with some disgusting people and she was found with so many fleas on her that they had taken most of her blood and she had to have a transfusion.
We feel really pleased that Pearl has found herself a good lady. Her other people must have been disgusting. Our Daddy buys special tablets from Mr Vet, so we don't ever get fleas. They are called Program tablets and we have one a month Fleas are yukky and disgusting.

This is a poem for Pearls new Mummy.

Chicken and rice

Our Mummy is the bestest!  The very bestest ever!  When the family have chicken, Mummy always makes us a special dinner.  Mummy is clever and she always gets 2 meals from a chicken.  When the children were little she would buy a really big chicken and get 3 or 4 meals out of it.
Anyway, the family had roast chicken yesterday and today they are having chicken carbonara, which is a fancy way of adding in pasta.  We like pasta.
When mummy has taken off all the meat for them she is left with a CAR CUSS.  That's what she says it's called.  She puts it in a big saucepan of boiling water and boils it for about 20 minutes.
The Car Cuss.
Then she gets it out and strips every last little bit of meat from the bones.  You have to do this while it is still hot as you get more off that way.  Mummy burns her fingers doing this and she sometimes says naughty words.  We have to put our paws over our ears cos we are good dogs.  That leaves the bones which are thrown away.
The bones.
Mummy says we can't eat these bones cos they are too tiny and we would get them stuck in our throats and choke.  We don't want to choke.  Mummy is very good and makes real sure there aren't any bones.
The meat.
It doesn't make much meat, but Mummy uses the water that she boiled the car cuss in to cook some rice.  That way the rice absorbs all the goodness from the chicken car cuss!  It makes very tasty rice.  Mummy mixes it with the meat and we get it for our dinner.
When Mummy makes chicken and rice we don't want go for our walk with our Daddy, cos we want our chicken and rice.  Daddy was marking X-am papers or something tonight.  We think that's a school thing.  It has made our walk late so we haven't had our dinner yet.  When we do get back, Mummy and Daddy will have to have theirs first so we'll still have to wait.  It's no fair!
We do love our Mummy though, co she makes the best chicken and rice ever!
This is our rice cooking!

New Human

EVAN
Our big girl Coralie, has produced us a new human.  We think it is a boy version of our big boy Sam's, baby girl, Ellie.  She is a girl, this one is a boy, like me... Alfie!  The new human is called Evan and he doesn't have spots like us.  Mummy says he is handsome though.
We haven't seen him yet but Mummy gave us this photo to share with you.  We think he looks a bit like a little glow worm.  Where are his hands and feet?  We might meet him tomorrow cos our big girl Coralie might bring him here.
We don't really want to see him cos he will get lots of attention, which means we won't.  If we try to say hello, we will probably get put into another room.  We bet he makes loads of noise like baby Ellie.  She takes our toys and screams!   We were good when we was puppies.

Wednesday 11th of June 08

Hello this is us, Rosie, Loulou and Alfie.  We haven't been here for a while so we thought we would do an update.  Loulou's tail is looking much better now but she still has to go back to see Mr Vet in a couple of weeks.
Alfie gave Mummy and Daddy a big scare on Saturday night and they had to phone the emergency Vet man. None of us knew what was wrong with him. He was crying all the time and seemed to be in pain. He could only lay down for a few minutes before moving. First of all Dad thought it might be a paw, but he cried each time Dad touched him.
Dad spoke to the emergency Vet man for ages.  He told Dad that maybe it was something to do with Alfies hips. He had a few problems with them when he was young. He told Dad to give him paracetamol ( A human tablet that we think they take for headaches, don't know what that has to do with hip pain!) He also said to take him for a very short walk in case it was indigestion. A walk may help to settle that.  Rosie and Loulou weren't pleased that he got an extra walk.
Anyway after the walk they let Alfie sleep with Dad in the "middle big girls" room, so he could keep an eye on him.  I slept on the settee (Rosie) and I got to sleep in Mummys room!  (Loulou). In the morning our Dad said that Alfie didn't really sleep much. He phoned the emergency Vet  man again in the morning and he said to bring Alfie to see him.
He got to go in the car all the way to somewhere called Stamford. Mr Vet checked him all over and said he thought it was his hips giving him pain, so he gave him an injection of pain killers and some anti flamories, or something. He also has tablets to take and an appointment to see our own Mr Vet in a few days.
A few hours after getting home Alfie said he felt fine and he has been fine ever since!! Me and Loulou think that maybe he was just putting it on.  We don't think there's anything wrong with his hips. Last time he had his hips bad he could hardly walk and he limped and looked all stiff. He couldn't manage the stairs or getting up on a chair. There was none of that this time.
Me and Loulou think he must either have had a bad stomach ache as he didn't seem to be able to lay on his tummy; or he just wanted some tablets the same as Loulou!   If he was just putting it on for attention then he is a naughty boy because he made our People very worried and Mummy said it didn't do her blood pressure any good.  We don't really know about blood pressure, but our Mummy has got some.
This is me.........Alfie, and those girls are being very bad saying that I was putting it on.  I WAS NOT!  I did feel very poorly and I tried to tell everyone.  My Mummy was very upset.  I felt better when I saw the Vet man.  I knew that would make me Ok.  Naughty girls saying I was making things up.  I would never scare my Mummy like that cos she has blood pressure.
Apart from that things round here are quite normal.  We have had some very nice hot days and we have been able to lay out in our garden and keep watch on those pesky squirrels.  Our Mum really doesn't like them.  We quite like them cos they are good for chasing.  They are scaredy cat squirrels cos they run away when they see us!  HA!  We are good guard dogs.
We have to go now before Mummy catches us on her computer.  Lots of love from Rosie Loulou and Alfie. X X X

Canine's Letters to God (there is a rude bit at the end)

TO:   GOD
FROM: THE DOG

Dear God: Why do humans smell the flowers, but  seldom, if ever, smell one another?
Dear God:  When we get to heaven, can we sit on your couch? Or is it still the same old story?
Dear God:  Why are there cars named after the jaguar, the cougar, the mustang, the  colt, the stingray, and the rabbit, but not ONE named  for a dog? How often  do you see a cougar riding around? We do love a  nice ride! Would it be so  hard to rename the 'Chrysler Eagle' the 'Chrysler Beagle'?
Dear God:  If a dog barks his head off in the forest and no human hears him, is he still a bad dog?
Dear God:  We dogs can understand human verbal instructions, hand signals,  whistles,  horns, clickers, beepers, scent ID's, electromagnetic energy fields, and  Frisbee flight paths. What do humans understand?
Dear God:  More meatballs, less spaghetti,  please.
Dear God: Are there mailmen in heaven? If there are, will I  have to apologize?

Dear God:  Let me give you a list of just some of the things I must remember to be a  good dog.
1. I will not eat the cats' food before they eat it or after they throw it up.

2. I will not roll on dead seagulls, fish, crabs, etc., just because I like the way they smell.

3. The Litter Box is not  a  cookie jar.

4. The sofa is not a 'face towel'.

5.  The  garbage collector is not stealing our stuff.

6. I will  not play  tug-of-war with Dad's underwear when he's on the toilet.

7.  Sticking my nose into someone's crotch is an unacceptable  way of saying  'hello'.

8. I don't need to suddenly stand  straight up when I'm under the coffee table.

9.  I must shake the rainwater  out of my fur before entering the house -  not after.

10. I will not  come in from outside and  immediately drag my butt.

11. I will not  sit in the middle of  the living room and lick my crotch.

12. The  cat is not a  'squeaky toy' so when I play with him and he makes that  noise, it's usually not a good thing.

P.S.  Dear God: When I get to Heaven may I have my testicles back?

Poodles

Guess what, Momma Dawg knows a Poodle!   It belongs to the her Ladys, sister.  It is a champion poodle.  Alfie could have been a champion, cept Daddy stopped taking him to the shows.
We think Poodles are funny dogs with their puffy bits all over and their pom pom tails. Our Mummy quite likes them though, especially the big ones called "Standards".
Momma Dawgs Lady says that Poodles don't shed much hair.  Best not let our Mum know that in case she decides to replace us with Poodles.  Our Mum has to hoover every day because we shed hair all year round.  We know she would never replace us though, cos she loves us.
Poodles have to be brushed and combed and go to the beauty parlour.  No way would we put up with all that sort of nonsense.   We don't really need to be brushed because our fur is so short.  Our Dad does dry us with a towel though when we are wet.  If we are very, very dirty he will wash us over too.  We like the drying game and bicker over who is going first!
Love from Roise, Loulou and Alfie. X X X

Hello from Alfie

I want to write a blog because those girls have both done one and it isn't fair if I don't.  I am the big man dog with the brown spots.  Technically, I am called a Liver Spotted Dalmatian.  I won prizes in shows when I was little.
We didn't do that many shows even though everyone said I could be a champion and win Crufts one day.  Daddy said that the shows were boring and he would rather take us all for a long walk.  We prefer that too, although I did feel very special because when we went to shows, the others would have to stay behind.  They weren't allowed to come!
We have made friends with a cat!  She is called Auntie Mame and she lives with Momma Dawgs family on a farm, over on the big Island.  Usually we don't like cats too much and we chase them but this is a nice cat because she belongs to Momma Dawg.
I have to go now because I know that my Daddy will be in from his working soon and then he will take us for our walk.  Daddy does working in a place called school.  Mummy used to work there too.  Our Small Boy and Little Big Girl also work at the place called school.
Love and kisses Alfie.  (The big He Man Dog)

My tail

Yesterday my Daddy took me back to see Mr Vet man again about my tail.  I have been a very good girl and I haven't been licking it and I have been eating the tablets that Daddy hides in my food.
I thought Mr Vet might say that it is ok but he didn't.  He said it is a bit better but not healed yet.  He has given Daddy more tablets to put in my dinner.  They are the same ones, called anti botics.  I have to go back and see Mr Vet man in 3 weeks time.
I was a very good girl and I didn't growl at him.  He gave me biscuits because I am good.
Our Mummy is poorly too, but it isn't her tail, cos she hasn't got one.  Humans don't you know!  Mummy is poorly with something called a "kid  nees".  I'm not sure what that is but it has made Mummy poorly and sad.  We are doing our best to make her better.  We sit with her when she is reading or sewing.  She says we are god puppies.
I like the picture about the doggy tails!  Love LOULOU

Our Family

This is our family a few years ago.
This is Rosie, I am the Mummy dog and I am going  to tell you about our family.  There are 3 of us fur babies and lots of humans.  There used to be 4 fur babies but our sister dog Sandy died of very old age, 2 years ago.  The other fur babies are Loulou and Alfie who were my babies and you already know them.
We used to have a cat that lived here called Sapphire.  She belonged to our Middle Big Girl.  When she got very old and Middle Big Girl had gone to live in a place called Uni; Sapphire went to live with our Big Boy at his home.  She died a year or so back too.
We have a big human family and it seems to be growing.  Originally we had 7 humans. Now we have about 13.  Our original humans, or nuclear family, as I think the word is, consists of;  Daddy, Mummy, Big Boy, Big Girl, Middle Big Girl, Little Big Girl and Small Boy.  Their human names, respectively are: Sam, Coralie, Verity, Saskia and Joshua.
Over the last few years we have got more humans in our family.  First there was Raz who came to live with us for a long time.  He is living in the place called Uni too.  He came to see us a few weeks back when our Big Girl got married.
Next came Lisa who has also done that married thingy to our Big Boy.  Then there is Charlotte and she lived with us for a while too, but now she lives with her Grandparents. She is doing something called "going out" with our Small boy.
Then we got 2 other human boys called Adam and John.  We don't see them often.  Adam lives in the place called Uni with our Middle Big Girl.  He talks different to us because he comes from a place that is called Ireland.  I think it is a little Island place, somewhere in the sea.  I think they all talk different there, but we like Adam.
Then last year we got ourselves a new human.  She is called Ellie but we call her Baby Girl.  She is belonging to our Big Boy and Lisa.  Mummy has told us that very soon there will be another one of these human babies.
We do like them, but we aren't sure about them.  They do smell a bit different to normal humans and they make very loud noises.  Loulou and Alfie aren't allowed to get too close to Baby Girl.  I am though, because I am an old lady dog and I know about human babies.  I'm not convinced that we need another one though!  Baby Girl seems to be plenty to me, but humans are funny.
We also have an old man called Grand Dad who is our Mums, Daddy.  We don't see him very often any more but he still remembers to send home sweets for us when Mummy visits him.  We used to have an old lady called Nanny too, but we haven't seen her for a long time.  I don't think she liked us that much really but she did fuss me and Sandy.  Mummy has said that the Nanny lady is very sick in the hospital and doesn't remember us now.  That's very sad.
Anyway that's our family.

We have got new grass.

Blog EntryJun 2, '08 12:32 AM
for everyone
Hello this is me, Alfie,
I am the big man dog with the gorgeous brown spots.  I am more special because I am brown spots and my Mummy and sister are black spots.  They are called common!
I want to tell you about our new grass in our garden.  We used to have real grass but it would die because we "wee" on it.  Daddy replaced it 3 times last summer.  It wasn't my fault though because the man at the garden centre told Daddy that it is girlie dog "wee" that kills it and I  am a big man dog.  Girlie dog "wee" has acid or something in it.  I am a good big man dog, so I didn't do it.
Anyway, Mummy and Daddy decided that it wasn't worth replacing with more grass so they decided to get something called "astro turf".  That's a silly name!  It is like pretend grass, but it is very good.  Daddy has spent all of his half term holiday week doing it.  Mummy helped a little bit.
It was lots of work.  Daddy had to dig up all the old dead grass first.  Then there was lots of mud and lots of rain and that was lots of fun, but our feet got muddy and that made Mummy cross. Then Daddy put lots and lots of sand down.  That was quite fun too, but Daddy got cross becasue our feet left behind "prints".
We got shut in the kitchen the next day while Daddy did "levelling".  I don't know what that is.  Then Daddy laid down the new grass.  It was funny because it looked like he was putting carpet in the garden.  When he was finished Mummy let us out.
We didn't know what to make of it at first.  We did lots of sniffing.  It smelt different.  It made a funny noise when we went on it too.  Then Daddy started rolling around on it to show us that it was ok.  We thought he looked a bit funny, but human people do funny things sometimes.
Daddy obviously wanted us to join in with him, so just to humour him and keep him happy, we did.  It was lots of fun and we found that it is quite good for rolling on.  We have got used to it now and it is very nice.  Mummy says that if it is hosed down every day it will be "high Jeanic" or something.  I don't know what "high Jeanic" is, but Mummy seems to be pleased about it.
So we can keep it all nice and "high jeanic" a man Called Mr Plumber is coming on Tuesday to fit a tap and water to the  outside of the house.  We don't think we will like Mr Plumber but we aren't prejudiced so we will let him in and see what we think.
You can see a video of me and Loulou playing on the pretend grass with our Daddy.  This photo is of me.  I am very handsome.  You can see my brown spots too.

We have new friends

Hello this is Rosie (MummyDog),
I wanted to tell you about our new friends.  Momma Dawg who lives on the Big Island on a farm has got 2 other dogs in her family and she has been telling us all about them.  They are Chihuahuas dogs which I think is said "Che Wow Wows".  They are very little dogs.
We aren't prejudiced though.  Our Mummy says that is wroong.  You must not be prejudiced!  We are a bit "sizeist" though, cos we do like big dogs.  Actually, you mustn't tell our Mummy this, but we are  a bit prejudiced against cats and squirrels.  We don't like them at all.
Anyway, Momma Dawgs, family sister dogs are called Juanita and Anni.  They also have another dog who lives with them called Ramona.  She did belong to Momma Dawgs second daughter.  She looks cute too,  But she is small.
Momma Dawg says that the Che Wowies get jealous because she is allowed the run of the farm and they aren't.  It's probably cos they are too small.  Momma Dawg is lucky cos she does live on a farm!  There is another creature there too, called Bonnet.  She is a goat.  I am not sure if I like goats.  I don't know any.  I think they eat lots of things.
We think that the Che Wowies probably are jealous of Momma Dawg because she has a big woof and they have only little woofs.  We have big woofs.  We woof at the suirrels and cats if we see some.  Also we woof at people going past our house too.
We want other doggie friends to join us.  We know that Mummy has other friends with dogs.  Mummys friend Connie from the Big Island has a doggie called Niki.  Niki is a small, long dog.  We think she is called a Dutch Hound or something like that.  Niki sometimes writes in her Mummy Connies blog.
Mummy has friends on Yahoo called Oshi Va and Bobbie they have doggies.  There are more people on Multiply as well.  Crissi and Kat both have doggies.  We want you to let your Mummys get you blogs, OK?  We want some more friends.
I am going to have a sleep now because I am quite old and I get tired.  Love Rosie. XXXX

Loulous tail

Hello, it's me Loulou.  I have got a poor, poor tail.  Something happened to it and it got a chunk missing.  I'm not telling anyone how it happened though.  I have looked after it and licked it all the time to keep it clean. My Daddy put some powder stuff on to help make it better but I licked it off.  I don't want no girlie powder stuff on me!
Anyway, last week it was getting more bad, so my Daddy took me to see Mr Vet.  I don't like Mr Vet.  Daddy is always worried that I might bite him just so he will know that I don't like him!  Ha, I might one day, except they put a muzzle thing on my nose so I can't.
Mr Vet looked at my tail and said it has something in it called a "fection".  He is wrong, there isn't anything in it becasue I have looked.  Mr Vet said that I have to take tablets called "Anti  botics".  He stuck a needle in me too.  Now you know why I don't like him.  Afterwards he gave me digestive biscuits which I took just to show him that I am a good girl.  He needn't think that means we are friends though because he doesn't fool me.
I have been a very good girl about the anti botics.  Daddy puts them in my dinner and I know they are there, but I don't flick them out.  I eat them so that the others can't have them.  They are only for me because I am special and I have a poor tail.
It is getting better now and I don't have to lick it as much.  Anyway, I heard them saying that if I kept licking it they would have to put a neck collar on me to stop me.  I'm not wearing a lamp shade!  Mr Vet also said that sometimes poorly tails don't get better and then he has to chop them off.  No one is chopping off my tail so I am making it better myself.
Daddy has got to take me back to Mr Vet one evening this week, I forget which.  He wants to check that it is getting better.  I already know that, I don't need him to tell me.  Alfie crys when I go on my own to visit Mr Vet.  He crys when he has to go too.
I am going to have a rest now and let Rosie and Alfie have a go on here.  I have to rest lots because I have a poor, poor tail.
This photo is me in the woods.

swimming party

We want to go to The big island. That place called America.  They have swimming parties there!   We found some You Tube videos about them.  Those big island people are funny, but they love their dogs.
How cool is that?  Did you see the big man jump in?  Yeah!!  Did you see the girlie in the knickers!!!
Did you see the little guys wearing life jackets?  What scaredy cats.
Swimming parties are fun!
Isn't that fun?  Lucky American doggies.  We aren't sure if we would want to share a pool with so many others though.  We are not good at sharing!  We like things for ourselves and we see off any interlopers.  Some times other doggies come in our park at the back of our house and we bark at them from the bedroom window where they can't see us...only hear us.  Ha!
It's our park because our house backs on to it and we live here and in the morning we go for a walk with our Daddy in our park.  In the evening we go in the car to nice places for our walk.  We have a good Daddy.  He gets cross if we pull on our leads though.  Sometimes we tie him up just for a laugh!  It's easy, we just get ahead of him and cross over a few times, then one of us slips behind and round the back!!  He he!

Videos

We have put another video on for you to see. This was taken in 2005. It is the 3 of us on Mummy and Daddys bed. They were packing to go away to a place called Disneyland where our "little big girl" Saskia was liiving. That's where lots of our realtives live! 101 of them to be precise.

We made the video for "little big girl" cos she was missing us!  We missed her too, cos she lived in the Disney place for a long time.  Then she lived in another place called Spain.  She said it was called Espana, but we don't speak that language.  We can speak some French though.  We are very clever.  We speak American too, which is the funny language they speak on the big island.

We hope you like our videos.  We are going to put more on here soon.

New Friend

We have got our first friend on our Dog Log!  She is called Momma Dawg.  She lives on that big island called America.  Her Mummy person is called Phyllis and she knows our Mum.  We think that Momma Dawg has some sister dogs too called Chihuahuas.
We are not sure how you say that word, we think it is Che Wow Wow.  They are tiny dogs.  Momma Dawg is a lucky dog cos she got rescued too like Sandy.  She was abandoned by nasty mean people so she wasn't trained and now can't go in the house. Poor Momma Dawg.  She has a very good family though that love her lots and lots.
Perhaps one day we can show you a photo of Momma Dawg and the Che Wow Wows.  We are real pleased that they are here and we hope that all of you have a lovely weekend with Your family.  Hope you get lots of treats and lots of hugs.
Big woofs from Rosie, Loulou and Alfie. XXX

Friday 23/05/08

This funny picture of some dogs at Mr Vets is for our Mummy, cos she is poorly.  We don't like that cat.  Cats are silly.
We are on Mummys puter again.  We have to be quick because she will be back in a minute with her coffee.  We like Coffee.  Rosie says she doesn't really, she just drinks it cos us puppies do!
Alfie has put a video on here.  It was taken in February 2007 and is of our "big girl" and our "little big girl" making a snowman.  Alf says he is near the beginning and at the end.  Oh yeah that's what we call Coralie and Saskia.  Verity is called "middle big girl", Sam is called "big boy" and Josh is called "small boy"!  Those are clever names.
Loulou wants to type something now.............. I have got a poor tail.  It has a lump missing. I'm not telling you how I did it.  It is very sore and keeps doing lots of blood everywhere.  I am trying not to do blood because it makes a mess and Mummy has to clear up and Mummy is not well with pressure in the blood and she must not be doing anything.
I think that Daddy is going to take me to see Mr Vet tonight.  I heard Mummy on the phone and she said soemthing about a 5.30pm appointment.  I don't like Mr Vet.  I bark at him.  sometimes I even try and bite him.  HA!  He pokes you with sharp things that hurts.
I do like going in the car on my own with my Daddy though.  He'll have biscuits in his  pocket.  Alfie while cry and cry and howl when I am gone cos he is a big woosey, brown, baby and he can't be without me.
This is Alf now................... I am not a woosey brown baby.  I am a jealous man!  I don't see why she should be allowed to go out in the car with my Daddy without me, it's not fair.  AND she'll get biscuits.  I cry and howl cos I am cross and well, cos I do miss my sister a bit.  I have a poor tail too, it was broken when I was little and it has a kink  now.  I don't want to see Mr Vet though.
Oh dear, sorry about that.  My puppies really are naughty.  They do bicker.  Of course it's me that has to put up with all the howling from Alfie when Loulou is out.  She will prance around like a little Prima Donna when she gets back too.  A mothers life is so hard.
While those others have been telling you about Mr Vet, I have been browsing the internet.  I found this You Tube video.  It is very sad.  It's about what the American dogs call a  puppy mill, here they are puppy farms.  They are terrible places.  They make us realise what lucky doggies we are.  Thouroughly spoilt and pampered.
We had a sister called Sandy who was Mummy and Daddys dog even before I was here.  Mummy and Dadddy rescued her from a dog home where she had already been rescued to.  She was so lucky to have Mummy and Daddy.  I still miss her.  I hope the video doesn't make you feel horrid but it is important that you know these things happen then we can all do something about it.  Promise me never to buy a dog from one of these nasty places.
This video is about "Hope"  and it does have a happy ending cos Hope gets lucky, just like Sandy did.  We all have to go now cos Mummy is here with coffee and she wants to use her puter.  Also "Small boy" has just come in from work and we need to check out his lunch box to see if he left anything.
Big Woofs from Rosie, Loulou and Alfie.  X X X

Mummy-not-well

We have taken charge of Mummys computer cos Mummy is not well.  She has some kind of "fection" and a thing called high blood preser!  We don't know what all that means except we know that Mumy is supposed to get lots of rest.
We have been helping her lots.  We haven't peed on any of her plants and we have been very good.  We didn't even bark at the post man this morning or chase those darn squirrels.  We have nudged Mummy upstairs to lay down each morning.  We have laid on the bed with her to make sure that she is OK.
We are very good dogs and we are taking care of our Mummy.

Rosie painting

Those puppies are such a pain.  They are always bothering me to do things when I want to have a snooze.  Just cos they want to mess around with paint, doesn't mean I have to.  I did a picture though to please Mummy.
My picture is the best, cos I did a pink heart for my Mummy and a blue heart for my Daddy.  I put in a bone as well to remind them that they need to visit the dog chew shop.  We are nearly out of biscuits and the chews ran out 2 days ago.  It's not really good enough, but they are busy.
I think the place they need to go is called The Pet City.  It should be called Dog City really.  I think Mummy will make daddy go tomorrow.
I do wish Mummy wouldn't call them other dogs, "puppies".  I'm the puppy.

Loulou painting

Alfie thinks he is dead clever because he got on Mummys computer before me.  I gave him  my special "look" which makes him go all silly like a scardy cat and he went running off to Mummy.  Sometimes he gets me in trouble cos Mummy says I am "timidating" him.  I'm not, I'm just making him move.
I can because I'm a princess.  Mummy sometimes calls me her little Princess Pea.  Anyway, Alfie shouldn't be allowed near computers cos he broke our Daddys one.  My Painting is better than Alfies because I have got flowers in my portrait.
We have flowers in our garden in the summer and me and Alfie like sticking our noses into them to smell.  Sometimes we bite their heads off!  That makes Mummy mad, so we do it when she's not Looking.  He, he!

Alfie painting

I had some of Mummys lunch, cos she is good at sharing.  Mummy is just having coffee now, so I have got on her computer while it's free.  I found something called Paint.  I have drawn my portrait.  I think I can draw better than Mummy.
Loulou is here now and she wants to have a go at Paint too.  She is giving me one of her "looks" and doing low growls that she thinks Mummy won't hear.  Mummy hears everything.  Mummy says Loulou is "timidating" me when she does her "look".

May 2nd 08

It's a nice sunny day in our garden and we have all been sun bathing except for Rosie and she has been sleeping in our box in the kitchen.  We haven't done any blogs for ages because Mummy is always on her computer.  Daddy won't let us anywhere near his lap top because Alfie knocked it off Daddy's lap and the screen broke.
It took ages to get it repaired and Daddy had to talk nicelyto a man called Insurance.  The man called Insurance still made Daddy pay £70.  Dadddy was not pleased and now he doesn't like us to go near it.  Tisn't fair cos we have a blog to do.
Mummy is going to get her lunch now so we have to go because she might give us some of her sandwich. Daddy doesn't share but Mummy always does.  We love our Mummy.

Slide show Of Dallies

Mummy and Daddy have been away on holiday to a far away place called the Isle of Man.  Our big girl Coralie stayed at our house to look after us with our small boy Josh.
Coralie is quite vigilant so we weren't able to use the computer much.  Mummy is always using the computer!  We missed Mummy and Daddy lots.
We made a slide show of Dalmatian pictures, because we knew our Mummy Jilly had lots of them in her computer files!

We are going to try and do another one with our own photos soon.   Oh yeah,  Loulou wants to tell everyone that while Mummy and Daddy were away, Alfie ate a pair of the big girls knickers that he stole from the laundry basket!   The big girl Coralie was very cross because they were from a matching set!!

Our first posting

This is our very first posting to our "DOG LOG".  Mummy has helped us set this up.  We wanted our own one because Mummy has a Blog and she is always writing in it.
There are 3 of us and we are all Dalmatians and members of the British Kennel club!  I am Rosie and the eldest one, I am 12 years old.  I was a bit worried about all this new technology, but I believe "you can teach an old dog new tricks" and I'm going to learn.  Mummy will help us anyway and I will let the others have a go too.
The others are my "pups" Loulou and Alfie.  They are 7.
My name is loulou and I am 7 years old, I am not identical to my twin brother Alfie.  I am white and black like my Mummy Rosie, but I have a solid black ear which everyone says makes me very cute!
I am the youngest and I am called Alfie and I am very, very special because I am a liver spotted Dalmatian which means I have got sort of Chocolate coloured spots. Everyone say that I am very handsome and I won competitions when I was little.  My human Mummy says that I am her "most handsomest boy"!
We are going to write doggie things in our DOG LOG and tell you what we have been doing and sometimes stuff about our humans too.  We will make sure to put in lots of pictures just like Mummy does on her Blog.
Lots of love and big sloppy kisses from, Rosie, Loulou and Alfie.

The fat lady hasn't sung yet

I am peeking over the parapet.... yep, it looks safe enough.  Things seem to have calmed down some what.  From browsing around it seems that people have accepted  the situation, quited the moaning and are now putting their energy into finding a new home.  That's good.

However it seems that a lot of people have already jumped ship.  Seems premature to me but hey that is not up to me.  Each to their own.  As far as I am concerned the fat lady hasn't sung yet, I know cos I am the fat lady!  I shall keep going here until the end.  We do have until December after all and that is months away.

Like most of you, I have begun the search for a new place to call home.  I thought that was going to be Blogger.  I have an old account there and I am currently moving my posts. However, I never really did get on with Blogger hence the move to Multiply.  I don't like it's lack of an inbox and the lack of community.

A Multiply friend of mine, Ingi, suggested that I look at Blogster.  I did. I like it.  There are a lot of Multiply refugees there and in fact SeaNymph has set up a group there with lots of tutorials.  It has all of the same functionality of Multiply, an inbox, photo albums, etc. It also has a really nice feel about it and is very friendly.  In just a couple of days I have had many welcomes and many offers of help to find my way around.  Seems the natives are a great bunch.

It is early days and as always there is a learning curve and I am sure there may be glitches along the way.   A couple of Ex Multipliers have hit problems but they have been sorted very efficiently and quickly.  I think this may be home for me.  If you haven't tried it, I would urge you to give it a shot. It is the most like Multiply that I have found and I have tried a lot.

I know some of you have already gone to Blogger and some to Live Journal.  I don't want to lose contact so if you have found a new home can you please PM me with your new details.  I am afraid that I am losing track of all the info posted in blogs.

It is inevitable that things will change.  I can't keep up with half a dozen different blog spaces.  I have enough trouble with one!  For those that wish to stay in touch these are my details:

Primary email: jill.sansum@btinternet.com

Primary blog: http://www.blogster.com/mortonjilly/  My user name is Mortonjilly.  My posts are open right now but will be locked down later on.

Secondary blog for back up  purposes: http://pinkduchessofmorton.blogspot.co.uk

Facebook: My user name is Gillian Glennsansum  search for me and I will add you.  I don't do a lot on facebook except a couple of games.

I shall continue posting here until December and hope that most of you will too.

So I lied

Yes, I know I said I wasn't going to mention this again but what the heck, I changed my mind.  I want to say something else!

Firstly, yes I am aware that not everyone is whinging but a lot are.  If you aren't one of them well that's great.

Secondly, some of you have pointed out that I have locked Blogger down so tight you can't get access!  LOL.  I wanted to stop some people getting in.  I will change that tomorrow, too busy today to get round to it.  Take another look tomorrow.

Thirdly, an analogy..........

When you purchase your home, you own it. It is yours and cannot be taken away.  However if you rent your home the situation is different.  You pay for the privilege of residing there.  You do not own it and it is not yours.

Your land lord can take it from you at any time.  For example if he decides to sell then you are served notice and you have to find a new place to live.

This is what has happened with Multiply.  We didn't own it, we rented a tiny piece in which to reside.  Now  we have been served notice.  I had a premium account so I paid for my little piece.  My choice.

Many people stayed with the standard membership which of course was free. Were you ever grateful for the free home you were given? Did you ever say thank you?  No thought not.  Funny how so many have suddenly found their voices.

That's my final word on this.  No, really it is!

Don't worry be happy

And so it goes on....and on....and on. Nothing of interest to read on Multiply at all it would seem. Just more and more of the whinging and whining. It is driving me crazy. For the Umpteenth time, This is not the end of the world!
Just to update, I have still not had the message. Maybe they are allowing just me to continue! LMAO. I want to make 2 other points, MUDS is not an official Multiply blog so how can we regard this message as being an official announcement? Secondly, Pez is a former employee.
* Official announcement is now on the staff blog.
Anyway, I shall continue here until such times as it disappears. I had already resumed posting at my Blogger site a few weeks back as I was bored with the negativity going on here. I expect Blogger to be where I shall go if and when the day of reckoning comes.
Should you wish to join me, go here: http://pinkduchessofmorton.blogspot.co.uk
You do not have to have your own account although I probably will limit my settings there eventually.
I can also be found on Facebook: www.facebook.com/gillian.glennsansum
Twitter: Dalmatian Mum. Hardly ever use this!
You can also email me at: jill.sansum@btinternet.com
Real friends do not lose contact just because a website closes.
Right that is enough of that. I shall not be taking any further part in any of the complaining and moaning. If you want to let me know that you have found somewhere wonderful for us all to go then pleased do but other than that it is business as usual here. My world goes on.
I have been busy in the garden earlier this morning but now it is time for some sewing me thinks.
Have a good day............................Don't worry be happy!
Listen to the words at the very end of this..... put a smile on your face, don't bring everybody down.....
Jilly
